Accountability should be written down
This hub brings together the standards Heart and Hands Relief Foundation publishes for privacy, stewardship, governance, and organizational decision-making. Status labels distinguish what is currently published from policies that still require formal adoption.
Why policies matter
Good intentions are stronger when expectations are documented.
Written policies give board members, staff, volunteers, donors, and the public a common reference point for how important decisions should be handled. They also make it easier to review whether practice matches policy over time.
